Terms & conditions

1. Agreement for work to be carried out

We will supply a written proposal which will include a description of the work and a budget. Your acceptance of the proposal indicates that there is a contract between us and that you accept these terms and conditions.

2. Cost

We will not charge more than we have stated in the proposal for the work described in the proposal, even if it takes me longer than we have estimated. If you ask me to do more we will supply a further proposal and budget for the additional cost incurred. We will invoice you 50% at an agreed half way point in the work, and 50% on completion. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date.

Our day rate includes all overheads, travel and administration costs.

3. Cancellation

This clause applies once you have accepted our proposal and terms and conditions. If you cancel our agreement for us to work for you more than 20 working days before the work was due to be carried out we will not charge you. If you give us five to 20 working days’ notice we will charge you 50 percent of the agreed price, and if less than five working days we will charge the full price.

4. Data protection and confidentiality

Information which you give us about your organisation and its activities will be kept confidential within our company, which consists of its two Directors, and extends to include our external administrator but no-one else.

By providing us with your postal address, email address, telephone or fax number you consent to being contacted by us by these means for the purposes of working for you and of administration. We will keep your details in an electronic record and may contact you occasionally (but not often) at other times. We will not pass on your details to any third party without your permission.

5. Our corporate responsibilities

Our company has a corporate responsibility policy which includes the following commitments:

  1. In all our dealings with clients, partners, associates and the wider community, we seek both to welcome and transcend difference and to take any necessary steps to provide equality of access and opportunity.
  2. We regard ourselves as a learning organisation and we encourage learning in ourselves, our partners and associates and our clients as part of the process of working together.
  3. Our research ethic follows the standard set by the Market Research Society.
  4. Our business ethics are based upon the principles of transparency, fairness, honesty and understanding.

In accepting our proposal to work for you, you agree that we will work according to these principles. Please contact us if you would like a full copy of our corporate responsibility policy.
